Ultra Compact Surfaces and Ceramic Stone

An ultra compact surface is a man-made, engineered material that is created with a process that mimics the high temperatures and pressure of thousands of years, the way natural stones are created.  Ceramic Stone is a very common example of an ultra compact surface.

This material has been extremely popular in Europe for decades because it can be used in both interior and exterior applications, can be ultra lightweight and is very strong.

With the superior properties of porcelain and the elegance, colors and finishes of natural stone, ceramic stone and similar ultra compact surfaces are an attractive option for countertops. Ceramic stone is nonporous, so it is resistant to staining and does not require sealing. In addition, this material has a high resistance to fire and heat, high UV resistance, and is highly scratch resistant.

They came yesterday, were in and out in less than an hour and were great.  They were so professional, gave me some tips on how to care for the granite and even left me some sealer.  I was very impressed with the service. Thank you so much!!! I am a happy customer.
